Why Wells?
One of my
favorite pastimes is taking a relaxing bath, and while soaking in the tub not
long ago I started thinking about how blessed we are by the availability of
water at the touch of a handle. For refreshment or relaxation—water is rarely a
worry.
I thought of those who aren't as fortunate. And I was inspired by the memory of a friend of mine named Esheron McKay who, several years ago, raised money to build a well. Healing Hands International can build a well for $4,800. Through some fundraising efforts (more about that here) I will be working on during 2014 and with any donation you wish to give directly to this website, we will raise enough to build at least one well that will bring better health to others by providing a precious resource we take for granted every day—clean, fresh water.
We are so blessed. Let's live the blessing!
